Yes if that Poster is a offical Fox one then we would have to ask who that guy is. He looks bald and not Afro Caribean... could it be Weyland lol..... i dont know. I would say Holloway becomes Toast..... I think that poster is fake because Vickers head looks like it was cut and pasted and then photo shopped, and it came from the scene when Vickers has the flame thrower saying "everyone back on he ship now" Janek says some like "heads up, or eat this" so i guess he is going for a Suicide Mission to Kamikaze into the Derelict, thats a fitting end and a heroic one for his kind of Character.... rather than have him escape and run off with the rest of them... Mind you that maybe fake... areyouseeingthis review had Janek escape in the Lifeboat and then land to rescue Vickers and Shaw... Now it seems a long way for Janek to pilot the Prometheus within range of the Derelict and then run all the way down to the back of the ship and pilot away the Escape Pod....

Agreed, I think the poster is official, bad...but offical. So who is the third person? Another issue is what happens to the Blue guy on the ship? Apparently he decides to spare Shaw, why we still have not figured out. Big dave i still think it may be holloway and he spares her out of his last vestige of humanity.

Everyone has their views and they are entitled to them, David 1 inc ;) I would assume he dies by sacrefice himself, you expect that from a Captain, i.e Captain always goes down with the ship.... But then again i am not the one who wrote the plot, and so who knows. As far as the Blue Guy i keep hearing how is friendly with David and then Shaw, well it dont look like it to me.... unless thats not the Engineer..... Ridley said they go in search of our orgins and what they find instead is a race that are/was doing uncivilised things... i dont think that makes our Engineer a nice person..... but the two so called leaked viewings claim that the Engineer is friendly well at first..... So has Ridley lied? If they was right, then Ridley would have said "they go in search of our orgins and they end up awaking and angring our potential creator" They also said this movie has no ties to Alien at all or no explanation from their events of the screening... Which again goes against Ridleys..... the last 11 minutes would provide a link and explanation to Alien, and fans will get their wish and leave satisfied.

@Fury 161 Yes we do seem to see her enter the normal escape pods, have a look at the schematics. You will notice the escape pod section has 3 squares i assume thats 3 pods/launch bays..... So again who sets off the Lifeboat? I guess its hard to tell or say.... Maybe a Engineer?

In the trailers it shows Shaw jumping out of the back of the crashed lifeboat. Vickers get of the ship via the personal escape pod. How they end up on the ground at the same time running from the crashing derelict is still up in the air.

"the racism some folks will bring about" It's a pretty well-established trope that you do not want to be the black guy in a horror movie. Unless, of course, you are Keith David, in which case you are pretty much unkillable.

Shaw is allready on the ground, Vickers is in the escape pod, the poster has a third person helping them escape the damage from the impact of the two ships. Who is that? Seems like we are missing a person involved in the escape they may live equation.

I think Janek is toast. I heard him screaming Allison or Ashley as he plows into the alien ship. There is also a red warning light that comes on at the most tense point in his crash. I like the actor and hope he lives, but I don't expect the chances for each person's survival are going to be very good. Well, it seems each iteration of alien has more survivors. Vickers appears to be running from something when she goes through that door, and she is terrified when she gets into the escape module. I think the engineer is chasing people through the ship and Vickers escapes both the Engineer and the crash. We have Shaw on the ground for some reason at the time of the impact. She probably is there with David when David is killed. I think they are exploring a new area and find the alien space ship, and realize it is heading for earth. Just had an idea, everyone seems to be normal when they enter the map room. They are more cautious than the earlier scenes, but they don't look like they are being chased or freaking out, other than being in an alien temple. The map room also converts into the chair. So, maybe they discover the ship earlier in the movie before the shit hits the fan.

What would be the point of the pilot living, he gives his life to stop the ship i would say and you see Vickers enter some sort of pod thing i don't see why they wouldn't be the escape pods. The ship would take a while to crash so maybe the pod lands and it crashes right where she is?
