If they dont revere the creature they sure show it a lot of respect by making a mural of it.

@ Stay Frosty - Exactly!.....and where does this notion come from that he wants her to live?.....i am sure he could just grab her by the arm and lead her away like a naughty child....or perhaps throw her over his shoulder if he wanted her to survive.....but instead he grabs her by the throat!...looks more like he wants to strangle her!

To be honest everything is off.... because we have not covered enough in the Trailers.... Its just like Ford........ She is alive when they go down first time, she examines the Dead Space Jockey. She is in the scene on Prometheus where she examines the Jockey Head. She is back for a 2nd time and is maybe leaning over Dead Milburn during Face Burster scene. Then we can clearly see she comes back from that after Snake Attack and Holloway collapse... As she and Shaw are helping Holloway back to the ship just before he is stopped by Vickers and her Flammer who does not want to let him on..... Then we see her again, in the Orrey Room face to face with the Engineer with a Merc by her side and some other crew member.... this is before the Chair is Raised but is if after David 8 sees the Hologram and Star Map... So what possesses them to go down a 3rd time after seeing Milburn and Fifield get owned...... then again why go down the 2nd time when she saw Jockey Head explode... And its the same sort of questions we have for the Blue Guy, yes maybe Vickers Suite is part of the Lifeboat..... or does that Lifeboat attach to her quarters? Or are her quarters part of it.... Some scenes look like it takes place on something bigger than that lifeboat, or is the scale of Prometheus bigger than we think.... We see the Engineer running through the same Door that Vickers does... and the passage way leading to that Door seems very long and surely that means he is actually on Prometheus and not the Lifeboat?

Shaw is his mother, probably.
