Well Fassbender is not yet a established movie star, and you just have to accept as many jobs as you can, he cant know how long his career will be. And the more movies you do, i guess the more it gives you a chance to be recognised. I think he will become a huge actor in the future.

Then why did you post it? It's all preference. I personally liked Shame, then again, I understood the themes and the desperation Brandon felt. It was more of a character study than titillating T and A. Fassbender did a wonderful job. Completely worth my two hours :)

I have to agree that the movie and Fassbenders portrayal were dead on. It wasnt pleasant to watch, but it wasn't supposed to be.

you are all right. I just thought I should say that I found the movie too long, too slow and annoying. Specially the girl singing New York New York for like 10 minutes. I respect the people that like it. I just don't recommend it.
