Already sick of "I told you so"

I'm sure the mods have all kinds of prizes for the ones who were right. "I told you so" hats, t-shirts, bumper stickers and the like..

It's a forum - people can and will say what they like. If my own post got your goat, then sorry - but personally reading yet another post saying 'xyz character turns into an engineer' which makes no sense and would be lame anyway gets annoying too.

The blue guys are the Engineers!!! I TOLD YOU SO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now can someone lock this thread please, LOL?

Actually, it would be more interesting and fun as a community to have EVERYONE go through and find and praise the people who were RIGHT. Only rule, you don't ge to nominate yourself. ;•)

@Deckard I agree with you. Another thing that annoys me is all of these "the trailers are ruining the movie" comments. Nothing can be further from the truth as I have muttered the same words about more films than I can begin to name, only to eat such words on opening night. I have found that many movies are much different from what I had imagined them to be after first basing my opinion on the trailerstv spots. And many films, probably including Prometheus, used scenes in their advertisements that were deleted from the actual film. I'm waiting until I see it before speculating or forming an opinion because from what I know of RS, we have not even seen the tip of the iceberg yet.

Ok, earlier today I posted a long thread which included an apology and a statement that it's a forum and people have the right to post what they want within the guidelines and the rules. It also had something like this... @orangecat At the time you posted that I did not even know about your post. Then I found it in the status update area. TBH I NEVER even look at bthe status update thing. And while you're post seemed to be in a good hearted, joking manner, it still got me irritated a bit due most in part to the "hate to say it" bit. Usually, and maybe not in your case, people say that are full of shit. They don't hate to say it. They love to or they wouldn't say it at all. Another thing is that I know a lot of people will want to rub being correct in everyone's face even though I rarely see people blatantly come out and say "No way, you're completely wrong." Thinking back I might have disagreed and maybe once even stated something as fact that I didn't. So I'm guilty to on that end. For example someone posted about being able to see the "face" of Shaw's offspring in a reflection in the glass enclosure after the "c-section." To me and others in the thread, it looks like Shaw's reflection. And upon further veiwing, I'm convinced if you look underneath the reflection you can see SHaw's hair pretty clearly. BUt by no means will I say "I told you so" if I'm correct. One more example of something I stated was that I was glad Lineloff validated my opinion of mysteries being a lot better than answers and that what he liked most about Inception was that it left things up to interpretation and that's what they tried to do in Prometheus. That was by no means an "I told you so" it was me expressing excitement that the movie will contain elements that I love. Anyway, now my worry is that this is the second or third time I've posted something only to come back later to see ity not here. Strange.

In the same way anyone has a right to type what they like within reason and respect for others they also have a right of 100% equivalent value to ignore any post from any other which they do not agree with or like or think never should have been made. Exorcize it ! lol.

Okay, sparty. If you would have read my last post you would have seen I said just that. I apologized. So it seems like I have all the right it the world to bitch about peoples idiotic ways as long as it's withing guidelines and rules. So I'll be perfectly content to point out how wrong everyone was. And plus, since it's pretty much impossible to go thru all posts and threads I'll just act like I was right about everything and bsay I told everyone so about every realization that comes out about the flick. Hope everyone enjoys it.
