#1 adress for movies in english in Munich is this one:

They'll show Prometheus for sure and probably will show both versions. The 3D and the 2D one.
One thing you could do if you don't want to wait until August 8th is try to catch the sneak preview they are holding every Friday. If you go there the week before Prometheus officially hits theaters it is very likely they will have an advanced screening. As they remain very quiet about what they are showing at their previews there is no guarantee you WILL see it, but just yesterday I got back from Snowwhite and the Huntsmen which will be opening next week. So chances are high! ;)

Hmm, I wasn't expecting much and I got a nice entertaining movie. I don't have anything against Kristen Stewart since I haven't seen the Twilight stuff so I take her for what she is: a good performer. Good job overall.
Expect some neat visuals and quite a different take on the popular tale. In parts it reminded me of that movie with Sigourney Weaver (ha!) and Sam Neil. And of course it was nice to see our beloved Charlize playing the meanie. Got me pumped for her role in Prometheus. ;)
So yeah, it's a nice and quick summer movie. I'd watch it again.

Hi there, just wanted to let you know that I was also highly anticipating this movie, even more so when I realized that germany is almost at the end of the release list. I like soccer but come on..!
So I actually started calling the "cinema" here in munich and bugging them asking if and when theres a sneak preview, to no avail, they won't talk.
Went to strasbourg to visit a friend for the weekend and remembered that france was already showing, mostly in french and the original english version.
Not only did I discover the most largest, impressive cinecity movie complex I have ever been to, (36 huge screens in one building, makes munich kinos look bähhh) but also enjoyed a perfect sunday night viewing of prometheus in 3D and let me say...it was brilliant, 2 hours of good old proper science fiction and amazing visuals. Sure it's got some nicks and micro dents, but in my eyes it was way above par than anything I have seen in the last years. R.Scott and his team have done a good job and it fits nicely into the Alien atmosphere.
This is the first time such a highly anticipated movie and one of my favorite SF producers have achieved a breathtaking watch since ages...you shouldn't be disappointed.
Now I can't wait to watch it again in munich!
