Is this a problem?

We already know, due to Shaw making radiocarbon dating of the Engineers corpses, that they were preparing to come to Earth and wipe us two thousand years ago. But... At the initial briefing that Shaw and Holloway do at the beggining of the movie, they show a lot of ancient artifacts that display the same picture, the set of five celestial bodies. If you go check them, most of them are dated into the range of BCE, or "before common era", before Christ. But one of them shows a different dating, "680 CW", and not BCE: If this CW means "after Christ" or Common Era, we are in trouble, because it is proof that the Engineers were here on Earth again many centuries after the time they apparently wanted to destroy us. Any ideas?

Or it just shows that the artisans behind the artifact dated to 680 CW (whatever that means; I'm not sold on it meaning "Common Era") copied or otherwise derived from another, more ancient artifact, as cultures are wont to do, perhaps not understanding its original meaning. Greek sculpture -> Roman copies flood of Gilgamesh -> Noah and the ark ...and so on.

Abiogenesis, I just read in another forum that in the movie this figure appears with "CE" in it; this one must be a tipo. Besides, it was found in Hawai. This is what Wikipedia has to say about the early occupation of these islands: "The earliest habitation supported by archaeological evidence dates to as early as 300 CE, probably by Polynesian settlers from the Marquesas, followed by a second wave of migration from Raiatea and Bora Bora in the 11th century. " The environment of polinesian expansion over the Pacific was not very friendly to cultural transmissions like that; populations were small, and many things were forgotten. The culture of Easter Islands, for example, was very peculiar. Besides that, the very movie, thru Holloway´s mouth, says that these were "unrelated" civilizations _ and that was further proof that the "coincidence" was due to alien influence.
