I have yet to see the movie and i know many of you have, but from what is being said and being a fan of the Alien movies i believe there is life here. It could have already been assumed that prometheus was going to be a let down at least to some. The hype and anticipation by us all has already done its work by swelling the expectations to unbelievable proportions. From the insight those who have seen the film has given i believe there can be a connection between the mural, the ending, and the engineers reason for wanting humans dead. If they have visited us before than they are well aware of what can take place if a human was impregnated....Xeno....which may be something they feared. Plus if shaw goes to there planet then there are still engineers out there who is to say they dont frequent lv223 come there find dead jockey encounter new xeno try and control life form farm it blah blah blah. I just think there is still life in this franchise.

I just saw it on a huge screen in 3D. Do yourself(s) a favour, read Bughunters opinion (i share it) and then remove yourself from here for a few days. I thoought it might well be the best film I've ever seen, will definately be going back to see it again, hopefully tomorrow. Most of the speculation on here was wrong, very wrong, and the film is much better than i'd even hoped for.

For each speculation there was a counter speculation, usually dozens. There wasn't one person who nailed it. Sorry, thats a fah fah fact. I came up with one or two myself that got shot down in flames here, but were borne out in the film as i was sure they would be, but, i didn't go in to see how the film matched up to speculation from Mr X, or whether Mr Y's ideas were right, i went in to switch off, and enjoy a film. I found that surprisingly easy to do, and still had a fair few surprises. If you read every spoiler and analysed every thing to the nth degree then don't be surprised if you ruined the film for yourself. If you peek inside the wrapping paper you will eventually see what your present is. Does that answer your petulant little "what" to your satisfaction?

by the way Windood you are setting an example for how to be a true gentlemen and I for one have noticed! You have been fair and Not revealed anything to any of us other than being honest about how you felt seeing it and I have soooo much respect for that right now man !!!

I think when some people have the time to see it again they'll see that it isn't a mess at all. I noticed distinct anxiety and at one point hoped the bloody thing would just end haha, for me it was scary. I think it would be wrong to tell someone any more than I have even if they asked in a PM, so i won't be doing that. Bughunter nailed it this morning in his spoilerless review, I'm glad i read that before i went in, because I was convinced it would suck, it was a lovely feeling to be wrong :-) I think limiting your time on here until you see it would be a good thing however, you'll enjoy the film much more if you do, it's amazing what you can forget in a week haha. Enjoy the film mate.
