In the trailers when they first go into the temple they come across a mural that depicts a xeno. In the trailer it goes on to change into a human, I remember some dialog around, it's changing, yeah but into what. Or some such. Was that in the film? I don't remember seeing it but I may have zoned out at that point.

Yes - the mural changes when they enter the temple (because it was locked off and now they are in the room affecting the atmosphere) - the changing into what voiceover was later on in the movie (I think when Shaw was reporting back second time out when Holloway was changing) - in the trailer it was all sliced together to add more suspense - still good though.
