IMO that is in no way related to the Xenomorph we all know and love, it only has three similarities 1. its head extends backwards 2. it has some kind of inner mouth 3. its dark in colour. Beyond that it looks horrendous

It also dosen't appear to have any eyes.

I don't think Prometheus NEEDED this extra snap-on ending ... I was very happy with the original ending. :)

@Gimmeafacehug Thanks As for the new xeno, I'm sure a certain Swiss designer cried out in anger when he saw what Arthur Max did to his original design. The xenomorph from Alien still scares me. This, however... man I don't know what to say.

your all missing the point, its a baby. the xeno when it erupts from a human is the size of a fist and its white this is the size of a small child so wahatever it grows into within a 48 hour period must be the mother of the xenomrphs, this creature is a unique creature because its origin is its hollaway/human infected by the black goo and shaws baby tha has impregnated into an engineer.

The Xenos are existent since million/thousand of years... This one here is just another way of mutation and lifecycle of the All-changing biotec DNA aka "Black Goo", infect a Lifeform. In Alien: ???>Egg>Facehugger>Human-Alien In Prometheus: Shaw>Cuddles>Octohugger>Engineer-Alien We dont know about the way of creation for the "Alienmovie" Eggs. I dont like the Idea of an Alienqueen. Nonono... Maybe an another mutated Lifeform, changed like the Worms in Prometheus. Or another Experiment or Urn-Type, just a bit organiclooking. In this case: Mutated Creature>Eggs>Facehugger>Human-Alien And this Creature, like the Worms, go crazy and killed the Engineers on LV 426. In Prometheus, the Engeeners killed by Worms. Voila...

I feel like this could be an infant version of the Queen. The Queen kind of has a "head within a head", and that's kind of similar here. However, if it's supposed to be an entirely different organism, or a type of "re-imagined" xenomorph from the original film, then I'm not exactly sure how I feel about it. It would have to be explained in another film.
