So the engineers wear the suits that we all recognise as the Space Jockey from the first Alien..but arent they already wearing another suit which resembles the bone and skin of a xenomorph? As the engineer we see at the beginning of the film is naked..

But then I assumed the xeno we see at the end and that we recognise from the alien films inherited that bone/skin type figure from the engineers but if it were just a suit how could they?
