MemberOvomorphJun-04-2012 7:27 AMMe likey. I did feel prometheus was the beginning of something more. It just felt like a mysterious set-up to something potentially bigger.

MemberOvomorphJun-04-2012 7:33 AMWell it did tie in sort of, kind of in an indirect 'oh hello, this seems more close to the original' but without being completely in your face - YES - prequel to Alien. I wasnt expecting it to be a direct sequel - RS did state that. I actually quite liked the ending, it caught my attention good and proper. Just means there's a lot more to explore and thats promising. If it just ended linking into alien definitively I would kind of be a bit annoyed, becuase it would of left so many questions still unanswered and the sequels have the chance to do just that.

MemberOvomorphJun-04-2012 1:35 PM3 films to show the alien evolving, and a ship crashing in the right place?
each film is going to have a bone-ship crash and slightly less squiddy, more-alien reveal at the end?
It would be a drawn out waste of time, and it would be like twisting the knife in the wound
