ARRRG!!!! The Community Page just spoiled Prometheus!!!

When I come to this site, I always go to the community section to get to the Prometheus Forum, but right on the community page is a "latest discussions" area where the most recent comments pop up. Now, I haven't seen Prometheus yet so I've steered clear of any and all OFFICIAL spoilers (i.e. from people who have seen the movie) but just now, right in that section was a title to a thread that spilled the beans on (what I am assuming is) a very integral part of the film (having to do with a certain someone doing something to someone else intentionally). After friday, it won't matter, but it kind of upset me to see a spoiler-titled post from the spoiler section on the main forum page :-( I'm assuming this is the right part of the site to make this comment, if not I apologize. I know now to bookmark the specific forum instead of clicking my way to it, but I just wanted to give ya'll a heads up!

My sympathies, I saw that and thought how utterly stupid. Don't worry it won't ruin Prometheus for you there is a lot to see my friend

I have seen a number of spoiler titled threads and it does make me think of all the poor people who are coming to the site who have not seen the film having it all spoiled for them within seconds. Although I have already seen the film and thoroughly enjoyed it, I myself would be very pissed off if I saw spoilers conveyed through thread titles. I think its damn inconsiderate and appauling.

I have actually seen threads though just coming up on the 'Recent Prometheus Discussions' section on the far right throughout today displaying blatant spoilers, some very big ones too.

Not meaning to be rude, but you asked for it. I for one have stayed clear of trailers, forums, and imdb until I could actually watch the movie. Now that I have, I'm here.

I have been irritated over this act as well especially members who put blatant spoilers in the title of their thread like they don't give a sh#t about anyone else. Don't mean to be rude, but others on this site have not seen the film yet. I know it's easy to say don't come here, but people come here to interact and discuss a film we are VERY excited for and enjoy sharing thoughts and ideas. Until the film comes out here in the U.S. this is my only connection to it. There is a place for discussion of the film for people who have already seen it, I just ask that members show common courtesy to ALL at this site.

There is no way for this place to NOT be a minefield in terms of spoilers. This is the "most dangerous week" of our franchise lives...

We try to do our best in censoring titles. (Not content, just titles unless the content violates forum rules) I am sorry you witnessed a spoiler in one of the titles, truly I am. I will do my best and the staff as well to try and keep spoilers in titles like that at bay. As you can imagine, it is getting very difficult to do so form now on. What I suggest, go to the homepage and instead of clicking the "Community" tab, use the forum selector on the homepage to go the general Prometheus forums which don't contain spoilers. That way you run a less chance of seeing "spoiler-Board" threads on the community feed.
