I must admit, watching it again a few times it's well nasty. I'm not sure about the creature design. Looks a bit like an upright, skinless donkey to me. But I didn't notice before how it seemed to use the back of its pointed fin like head to almost cut its way out of the Engineer. but it's a nasty 'birth'. Still think it was a bit of a sucky ending though. Clearly leaves the way open for a sequel of course.

The engineer is a thin as a pancake and yet a huge monster bursts from his stomach. How does he hide it?
