Prometheus prequel??

There is already so much gaps in prometheus... but that's a force, everything is possible now: the best... and the worst promII or whatever. Let's hope for the best hu!

Ok, we're on the spoiler board so beware: The [u]sequel[/u] to Prometheus is open to many directions... Shaw may find the SJ's home planet, they may be more benevolent than the SJ we've encountered and maybe she explains what happened there. Perhaps they go back to LV223 to clean up the mess that the crew (particularly David!) created... guess who's waiting? Maybe the new breed Xeno has some sort of memory recall from the SJ host, and is intelligent enough to be able to fly one of the remaining Juggernauts to god knows where. Personally, I'd definitely like to see the 2000 year old back story to the SJ's that were killed... Who they really are, what were they up to, why did it all go pear shaped?

@Kronik, yes I'd like to see that [u]prequel[/u] too. Also I think most of us would like to see how the original SJ got there in Alien and what his story was. Room for 2 prequels to the prequel... when will it end :-)

I am sure Ridley did hint before of the posibility of doing two movies and one being set in a different time frame and another in a different universe if i can recall? So maybe we would get a Prometheus sequel and a prequel but then its hard to say which will lead to Alien... if any.

What if, in sync with the Prometheus mythology, the SJs we see running are the Titan-like team being chased by a Xeno unleashed by their brethen the Olympiad-like team in punishment for the Titans sharing the fire of life with our planet Earth?

Probably the prequel ideas could be covered by good story telling in a sequal. Not as gauche as flashbacks ala lost but more using David. If they meet more Engineers then David translating to Shaw with cinematic visuals could be used as this plot device.
