Things from the trailers which didn't appear in the film

Holloway saying its the sweetest air was not in the movie... It's a shame so much of the movie [i]was[/i] the movie though .

The Mercs shooting at something as they escort Weyland to a third excursion to the temple. These scenes are completely edited out. The shot of Shaw clasping her hands as if to pray is not there Scene where Shaw is backing a transporter is edited out. Shot of Ford trembling at the sight of a waking Engineer is edited out Shot of David examining strange particulates dancing on top of the urns is cut And most importantly, I could've sworn the shot of the Space Jockey suit in the trailer is modified. In the film, we only see the Engineer suiting up, the helmet closing up on his face. In the trailer, the rib section seems to open up. This could be a shot of the Engineer getting off the pilot chair after the Juggernaut crashes into the ground. There may be some conversation between the Engineer & David before the former goes after Shaw. How else could David warn Shaw about this? Or it could be part of another scene completely edited out to modify the movie. BluRay time baby.

Also absent was the scene in the Isle of Skye where Holloway meets Shaw outside the cave; she looks coyly and he observes, 'You're smiling!' @EGR101, I think the shot of the Space Jockey suit in the trailer was played in reverse; so instead of it closing around him, it appears to be opening up. But it may well have been the same incident simply played backwards.

Oh, and also absent - thank heavens - was the phrase 'Prometheus has landed!'

I did see Shaw clapsing her hand to pray both in the movie and trailer. I did see David look at the moving black on top of the urn also in the movie. David say in the trailer, please tell me you can read this. Not in the movie, he just reads it. I can't remember Ford at all :s haha In trailer Vickers say a king has his rain ........ while engineer at wataerfall. In movie she just talks to her dad

@ShinobiX9X, you seem to have seen a different cut to me! I agree with all the other observations made previously. Are you sure you saw that stuff? Sureley there aren't two cuts out there?

I also saw the shot of the urn with David, I am not sure I saw the clasping hands Shaw though, i've seen it so many times I assumed it was there.

I saw the Russian version and all that stuff was in there minus a few I agree with you on.....would be insane if there are multiple versions out there
