Oh thank Godzilla! The US Prometheus release had less Plot Holes!

'plot holes' by defintion of the term, have to be pivitol points in the story that DEFY LOGIC and/or have to be COMPLETELY IGNORED all together in that particular instance to allow the story to make it from point A to B successfully.... Most of the so-called "plot holes" of 'Prometheus' aren't relevant to the immediate purpose of the story and are really just 'annoyances' to our desire to understand and know every little tid bit of every little detail...... and most are easy-as-hell to figure out........but aren't necessary.
If 'Prometheus' has "plot holes" (which it does has a few minor ones) that ruin the flick for ya, then go back and get pissed about all your favorite movies throughout cinema history (Too many to name)...... Because even the the source material didn't (and still hasn't) explained shit..... origin of cargo eggs, derelict Juggernauts purpose, Xenomorph explained, etc.... and, despite contrary belief, it was never Prometheus's job to explain those... NOR WAS IT PROMISED that Prometheus would.....
Bottom line: Prometheus was a solid movie .....with minor flaws...
1) Horrible soundtrack? - NO.... not what I wanted though.
2) Plot Holes? - Not as many, nor as large as some might insist, BUT nothing that can't be explained with a little logic and even yet doesn't make any 'over-analytical' prick not able to track how the story made it to the ending.
3) Characters Development? - If they were relevant to the plot, they had a successful arc. If they were expendable to the story, then not so much....writing 101
On a scale of 1-10? - Fuck a scale..... I enjoyed the movie from 'fade-in' to closing credits (and I've seen it twice)..... and I "got it". A new door to a tangent of the 'Alien' franchise has been opened now and the possibilties are exciting and endless! WE really don't need all the answers, my fellows fan-boys....at least not the ones you've been clamoring for over 30 years for.... but congrats though! you've now become voices of common intial reactions to science fiction that doesn't always meet your expectations......no worries though, in due time you'll be riding the 'Prometheus' dick in the near future sooner than you think..... just like you did with the ill-received intial viewings of 'Alien' & 'Blade Runner'..... FYI, they too were riddled with the same questions and critizisms that you have for 'Prometheus'.... but now they're your standard.
