Awesome Prequel

+1 This is exceptional story telling and film making. Ridley hasn't let me down at all. If I knew all the answers then it would be so boring further on down the track... and there are so many easter eggs to find in the film. Awesome indeed!

Agree. I saw it at midnight stayed up all night talking about it(and other things)then went to see it again at 1:15. Got me 12 12:01 posters and the Cinemark shirt! The 2nd viewing wasn't as good as the first. I think I need to forget what I saw a little before viewing it again.

It is deliberately compact and paced just right to leave you wanting MORE which is what this is all about Given the opening of this film...[b]THIS PARTY HAS NOT EVEN STARTED YET?[/b]

I hope so... the franchise died when hollywood marketing got involved. Sure it was cool to see an alien head in Predator 2 - but the direction the studios went was to entertain the non intellectual - the thinking crowd want story (and we still want the other sfx) but story is paramount.... Prometheus ties in everything if you're willing to look!

I own everything Ridley has directed and I have never seen this pace employed before....it's almost like he threw down a challenge..." you think I'm old, maybe over the hill, out of touch and ideas? Well, lets see you keep up with this!"

Excellent movie! Classic style sci-fi! Wish I could see it again to soak more of it up.
