I believe Weyland had other children. Can someone please research this?

Entirely depends on the law regarding androids as free agents versus property. Can they 'buy' their freedom the same way black people could in the Southern US back before the civil war? I'm not convinced there will be a sequel, because there's a way of looking at this film, that actually sums up what needed to be shown... But if it does, and Ridcley keeps teasing us with mythological red herrings, then it would be David, but I doubt he would survive two more films to see the inside of a board-room.

@[b]Antony (aka. abordoli)[/b] It's suspected that Meredith Vickers was Mr. Weyland's daughter, though from the looks of it the two didn't have much of a positive relationship. If we take all his dialogue in the movie into account, it sounds like he wanted a son, not a daughter. Now as for your belief that he had other children, that instantly made me think that maybe he had a bunch of concubines that came to him thinking he was some messiah-figure (due particularly to his creations). Well, maybe not concubines or lowly whores, but if he did have multiple children, I don't know the precise details to how his children came to be; it reminds me of how nations came to be in the Old Testament, how they just state basically "Shem became the ancestor of the Semitic people, Ham of the Africans, and Japheth of the Europeans"......but not to mention that some earlier figures in the OT had multiple generations, and King David supposedly has an ancestor who lives today.....people, even the great patriarchs, had a lot of sex in the Old Testament? I don't know. lol
