@Juxtapose; I guess I lack imagination then, *cries* T__T I didn't love the movie, but I certainly respect a persons opinion. If they liked it a lot that is wonderful, I don't judge.

@[b]David 1[/b] Mutated Fifield was awesome. There's just something so refreshing about being this freak of nature and then just going in and crushing people and ripping them apart in such savage fury. Oddly enough, my friend wished that Fifield looked more otherworldly than as he was presented (when mutated). He and I were debating about that a little bit; I thought Mutant Fiffy looked fine as is, but he thought he looked like someone walking out of the set of The Walking Dead. Of course, I still need to show him the concept art showing that the infection was indeed to mutate his body into something otherworldly....

Very nice, all this must be in the extra 20 minutes. Beautiful image. :)

CrazyDave55811: I didn't like it from the biginning of the scene he is making this contortionism act outside Prometheus. Too Exorcist and Ringu. I would like it better if the Zombie Fify turned into that alien creature you can find in the link above. [and Bob ripping his head out too]

@[b]David 1[/b] You too? Feh....though I will agree that Mutant Fiffy's contortion act was strange. I don't know if that's how the creature rests, but resting on the ground with your legs going over your shoulders looks goofy. I mean, sure, his mutation enables his body to twist and contort in all sorts of unhuman positions, but he should've just laid prone on the ground prior to getting up and attacking that one guy after the hangar door opened. As for Mutant Fifield's presentation in the movie, I think maybe they had him as portrayed so he could be recognizable to the audience.....otherwise the audience would think the full mutation's presentation would come off as "random", possibly as something thrown in in some attempt to make it more interesting. @[b]Svanya[/b] Yes, and that thing is shown in the official art-book for Prometheus. I got it on June 12th along with the official soundtrack CD. Good times. (:

CrazyDave: It was goofy. A hell lot of "goofism" there. As for his face being of refference, Janek says it is Fifield outside the Ship, so there would really be no point in letting the audience take a good look at a Space Zombie... "brainz" anyone?

@Stacie; Wow ty for posting those! Gorgeous! @WhyDontTheyFreezeHim; See! Look at the engineers armor/cryosuit, looks just like a xeno exoskeleton. Funny, I am reminded of the movie "Hellraiser" when I see the pics of the Engineer from the end in his armor. Looks like Pinhead LOL!

@Svanya The one on the right of that image looks a little like the cobra xeno and i wonder if that was what was indended to become of what came out of Milburn? We have two unacounted deaths in Prometheus and also when looking at Fifield Zombie and then the Hybrid one... i prefer the Hybrid and seems they went to a lot of effort in creating animatronics for that monster just to not use it. I did in one of my posts where i added bits i would have done to the script and i would have liked to had seen Fifield Zombie mutation shown in the temple, but then the final stage at the Prometheus cargo bay for him to had changed into the Hybrid. But i guess it was not used because they wanted to savour any Alien DNA untill the money shots which was Shaws Baby Face Hugging the Engineer and Chest Buster... I just love that elder Engineer scene, makes more depth.... I think cuts could had been made for gore but i also think some was made purely to milk the cow.... And get us to buy the DVD/Blu-Ray or watch SE version at IMAX... Which could have the full sacrefice Engineer, remember the actor did say he had to do some dialog in Alien Tongue.... well that never made it into the movie so we can only assume that the Elder and Sacrefice Engineer have a conversation and thus the Sacrefice Engineer sacrefices himself in a ritual. Also we have to assume a extended cut would have the full Shaw/Engineer attack which from story board art work, shows him enter the door of the lifeboat, confront shaw and lift her up via her throat (there was leaked image of this actual scene) one would assume she uses the axe to get free and falls to the floor, which then the Engineer walks over to her (scene in trailers that never made it to the movie) and then pick her up and then throw her up against the wall..... we only see the thrown up against wall scene and onwards. So yes those two scenes would add i would say another 5-8 mins to the movie. With some Gore cuts to take up odd few minutes... who knows what else was cut from the movie... A shame really as my biggest gripe was the movie seemed mish mashed as if it was a 2 hours 40 min movie that had scenes and parts of scenes cut, so as to why it seemed rushed in parts and why some scenes never added up. Wonder howmany now wish the Janek and Vickers love scene is to be included lol.....

OMG that fantastic, I know I say that a lot... but really we need more, much much more!!!!!!!!

@CrazyDave55811 I think the reason they went for Fifield mutant is two fold... 1) So as that we dont see Alien DNA untill the Shaw Baby and Chest Buster Decon scenes.. 2) Maybe Ridley prefered for realistic reasons and ease of shooting, the Human with prospectics over Animatronics.

excellent, thank you so much for posting this. The elder looks cool, wish they kept this concept in the fil. I'm thinking we are going to see a lot in this book we would have prefered to see in it!

Its such as shame that the execution of the plot and some character designs and plot was not as well done as the visuals, make up and other attention to detail... Such a real shame, a movie that would be 3 hours and a plot execution on par with the visuals and this movie would had been pure class a real great movie.

I'm picturing it now... Damon Lindelof whispering in Ridley Scott's ear "We can make a lot more money if we put the real movie in an extended un-cut bluray version, that way they have to buy it after seeing it at the movies"

the Elder Engineer's PET is wonderfully evocative of some catlike thing.

Perhaps the Elder Engineer is a member of the Vulcan high council XD, anyway it seems to me a sort of escort...

yeah, really nice artwork..IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN in the movie. It doesnt make Prometheus better when they release this fotos afterwards.. it fix the character delelopment or oddities..hmm a pity and Yeah. the Vickers/ Janek love scene WOULD have given some depth to the characters..

you man a "steamy hot sweaty dirty proving Vickers is not a robot and does push ups each morning for a reason" SEX scene would have done that! LMAO!
