The REAL Meaning of the Sacrifice

So, I finally figured out the true meaning of the Engineer sacrifice. It is completely symbolic. The Engineer represents the movie Prometheus could have been. His flawless physique = epic film masterpiece. The black goo represents Damon Lindelof's script. When the Engineer (the potential film) ingests the goo (the Lindelof script) he becomes a complete mess, literally falling apart, utterly destroyed. Perhaps the giant spaceship is symbolic of intelligence, which vanishes from the film within the first 5 minutes. Haven't figured that one out yet.

Not gonna lie. Actually thought this was pretty funny, lol. That being said, while the movie does have its flaws it was still decent, both as a standalone film or as a "prequel to the prequel" Alien fans would like to see.

Hadley's Hope, I never saw Lost, either. Don't feel bad. Seeing that the film has a steady, religious undertone, my personal explanation is that Lindelof, Scott, et.al., were simply trying to convey a message similar to giving one's life so that others may live. In this case, the others being an entire race of humans. At least that's my thought.
