wtf - make me that way with movie #1 so i'm dying to see the next one. this sounds like a rental or a download! RS: oh, you saw number two Paraprometheidicus? i know you have a number of questions and it wasn't quite what you were expecting, but wait until the 3rd installment; it's going to knock your socks off. people will be talking all over the planet; my rulership of the stupid will be complete! hahahah! dumbasses!

I figured if you're a fan of great films that you'd get it. It's from the end of Se7en. Beware...there are MAJOR SPOILERS if you have not seen the film Se7en. Ridley=John Doe played by Kevin Spacey Hater=Detective Mills played by Brad Pitt John Doe had a masterplan and murederd people who committed one(or more) of the seven deadly sins. Each murder mirrored the sin, turned the sin against the sinner and so forth. The last 2 sins were a secret and Mills and his partner had to drive Doe to a road in the middle of nowhere to find out the last 2. Turns out Doe is one of the sinners. His sin is envy. He envys Mills' life and his wife. Doe cut his wifes head off and sent it by courier to the road which Mills and his partner, Somerset, took Doe to. Somerset goes to retrieve the box, not knowing what's inside, while Mills holds Doe at gunpoint. Somerset opens the box and begins to yell at Mills to put his gun down. Doe proceeds to tell Mills that he cut his pregnant wifes head off and killed the baby she was carrying. Mills had no idea of his wifes pregnancy. Doe begins to tell Mills to become the last sin which is wrath. Mills does take his vengence on Doe becoming the last of the seven deadly sins completing Doe's masterpiece of a lesson to the world. Maybe now some of you will get my last line in the post...[i]I can't wait until the haters opens the box-if they can figure out how to-and find their wife's head![/i] It's a joke. One that apparently went over a lot of heads. Didn't think it was quite that obscure as the scene, imo, is one of the most memorable in cinema history.

@Inquisitor...Funny seems quite a few are talking right now. Even people who don't seem to have any reason whatsoever to talk about it as well as some who don't seem to want to but just can't help themselves. No such things as bad pub. Mission acomplished if you ask me.

@lindelost...You are...obviously...as your name states...lost. Understandable. This film asks a lot of it's audience. Some are willing to give and take. Some just want to take. Diff'rnt Strokes, I guess.

LOL this is so funny

Ridely takes himself entirely too seriously. A bit of hubris methinks. I like Gladiator and Blade Runner far more. Much more accurate reflections of human character and current trends. Prometheus, despite all this hype and zealotry, is really only another space opera with several flaws. Cameron made many of the same errors with Avatar. Failures in imagination. Frank Herbert was, by far, the greater visionary.

Doesn't the hater win in the end...After all, he pops off Ridley so he just made sure we wouldn't get a sequel (at least not from RS).

ok, so I don't see this thread going on much further. Looks like the topic was to be playful, although in the long run dupes refering to the ending of Se7en, mission accomplished. Locking her down gang!
