There has to be a reason why some enigneer would take his DNA and death to seed a planet? Is this how they give birth? Then, is it nurtured to a point where they either destroy it and then occupy it? Anybody this intelligent and with this technology has to have reasons for what they do

I think what we are calling engineers are clones used for whatever purpose their creators want. Some may be soldiers, builders, or used for seeding other planets. They all look the same and nothing was given to lead me to believe that they are the originators.
