Engineers in Aliens: Colonial Marines

During at E3 a gaming developer from gearbox stated that the director from gearbox studios and Ridley Scott had a meeting over what should be in the game and what's the connection does it have with the film to Prometheus, since this by a few is considered a true sequel to James Cameron's Aliens. Now the question that needs to be answered...will the engineers appear in the game, and will they be one of the antagonists, along with the xenomorphs, weyland mercenaries and commandos, plus the deacon proto alien. Since they pushed the game to February 2013, and will we ever play as the engineers in multiplayer. What do you think, will they do it since the guys at gearbox had that meeting with Ridley Scott. Will it be interesting to play as an Engineer or will you rather play as a xenomorph instead?
