Orrery or Orrey?

It's Orrery. Orrey is not a word. Some people just can't spell and have too much self belief.

Then...someone might want to change the captions on the concept art here. That's how I got the incorrect spelling.

Anyone else fascinated by Orrery's in film? I think the first one I can remember is from The Dark Crystal inside the castle of Aughra (the one-eyed woman who says "Looks like Gelfling... Smells like Gelfling... " It was just incredible--- a massive structure the crew actually built for the film, Aughra has to 'duck' to miss one of the planets swinging by if I remember correctly...

The Dark Crystal was one of my favorite movies. Kinda weird, dark and mystical. Don't make them like that anymore.

Orrery..is not a word that is used daily in the 'hood..and I thought it was made up! The orrey in Prometheus is quite spectacular and I assume practical to Enginners in the daily life...whenever that was. I would think this display requires additional investigation into the life of Engineers/Creators and where else they travelled to. Some of the sets so elaborate that it is a shame if we don't see them again an any future movies..
