Wanted to sneak out early from work and grab one last viewing @ around 5 today, but they pulled the rug out from under me! They took it off the schedule overnight, so now I have to wait until 10pm to catch it in another theater. There are only a handful of venues showing Prometheus within 1/2 hr or so north of NYC now...I guess they have to make room for that all-important Katy Perry movie!

Man! It's no longer in my local theater either. Bummer. I wanted to see it at least twice. 18 state-of-the-art screens and not one for Prometheus??? This crappola IS there though: Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter 3D. WTF??? Only in 3 theaters within 40 friggin' miles of me. That sucks.

Just got back from 2nd viewing, no 3D this time, just good old 2D. Loved it. Although nothing compares to my original viewing in IMAX 3D, I could see so much more detail: from the deterioration of Holloway's infection, to the pile of dead Engineers. Every dark scene was full of detail which was missed the first time 'round. Anyway, this is a keeper. Pre-ordering the Blu post haste.
