Annanuki/ Geshtu/ Sumerian myth

Sumerian culture topic was discussed plenty of times here.

Interesting and not a stretch IMHO by any means as many of us here were already tuned into the entire "Annanuki" angle and have seen much of The "Ancient Alien" Series and tuned into all the articles and texts written about the subject matter. And Especially the part at the end comparing The Engineers to "Fallen Angels".

Yes. I think that Ridley was working on a combination of Paradise Lost & Sumerian myth (chiefly) amongst others. The stone face has unmistakable cuneiform markings. The black liquid is the Norse 'eitr'. Film = genius.

..and the movie is Scott's expression of their stories.... How we understand it..well that is up to our knowledge..expereinces. Judging my the many posts,,not everyone has grasped the overall themes,,or where the story is heading.
