MemberOvomorphJul-11-2012 2:12 PMJuxtapose: Until now I've been thinking that there's some type of "Prometheus" related TV show in the works but your last post made me realize that I've been showing my age and looking at the "career videos" from too much of an old media perspective. Who knows what Fox will reveal at the SD and NYC Comic-Cons regarding the "Alien(s)" universe but you may be on the money. Until now I never thought about their being a potential link between the Weyland Industries site and next year's release of "Colonial Marines".

MemberOvomorphJul-11-2012 2:49 PMI will have a walk-in role in the next movie. I will play the part of the wayward cat that is in fact an Android that has become self-aware.... that it's litter box is full and has not been cleaned out during the course of the voyage.

Leading creature and concept designer Neville Page (Avatar, Star Trek, Tron, Super 8, and most recently Prometheus) goes in-depth about the specificity of character development, from script interpretation to full design execution, referencing select work from some of the spectacular films he has worked on. You will not only see the final resolve, but the roughest of sketches. A thorough Q&A will be a big part of the presentation. Room 7AB

Panelists Jon Spaihts (writer, Prometheus), Jane Espenson (producer/writer, Battlestar Galactica, Caprica), Zack Stentz and Ashley Miller (writers, Thor, X-Men: First Class), Jaime Paglia (producer/writer, Eureka), and Dr. Kevin Grazier (science advisor, Battlestar Galactica, Defiance), talk about the ups and downs of respecting the science in ongoing science fiction TV and movie series. Uncertainty is the only certainty there is, and knowing how to live with insecurity is the only security.

MemberOvomorphJul-11-2012 5:19 PMI'm sincerely hoping for news about the Prometheus movie sequel...I will NOT settle for a TV show though. A video game I could live with, (if it's done right of course) but definitely not a TV show.
That's just me, though.
