confirmed sequel? if anything, id say the odds are stacked against a sequel at this point. I certainly hope im wrong! we'll see. As aurorian pointed out in another thread, id imagine home video sales, merchandise sales, and some time and distance from the pandemonium surrounding the box office release will all play a role in deciding if we are ever to get another installment. as of right now, we have no good info regarding the prospects of a sequel (other than the fact that, prior to prome's release, it was considered the first of multiple films). The haters are certainly not helping. If any of the haters want a second film (im sure many of them dont, but certainly some of the really do), they might do well to dial back on the critical venom. The message was received loud and clear. At this point, everyone needs to be able to clearly see what kind of demand there is for further investigation of this new yarn. Personally, id be thrilled to see this story fleshed out (by scott).
