Some elements of this comic book's storyline go as follows: scientists/explorers discover one of the Engineers' ships/structures with eggs inside; they also find the dead bodies of some Engineers; there is debate about science, religion and faith; they discover/question the grand purpose of the Aliens and their creators (Engineers/Space Jockeys) in the cosmos; there is an android that kinda reminds me of David; they discover a lone Engineer in hibernation; this Engineer gets impregnated by a facehugger; the resulting chestburster/creature is of immense size and has a different look (it reminded me of Prometheus' Deacon or Deacon Queen?); etc...
Any of this ring a bell? wink wink ;)
Maybe some Prometheus writers/scriptors based part of their material for the film on this particular comic book? There is something uncanny about the ressemblances.
I might write more about this some other time or I'll try to find some pics. Have a good weekend Xeno fans!
