RELAUNCHING 10/11/12? do they mean they're gonna issue a TOTALLY RE-CUT VERSION of the film? Was PROMETHEUS some sort of DECOY, or false testimony? Did Ridley Scott shoot two versions of the same narrative, for which Lindelof wrote TWO SCREENPLAYS? "What did he say?" is this bite-of-PIE not just the statement Pilot uttered during meeting with Weyland? Or is it something additional?

I have only ever heard the other recordings. When I first heard it a week ago and posted this [url=http://www.prometheus-movie.com/community/forums/topic/9122]Strange Recording of an Engineer talking.(Weyland Industries Viral Call.) [/url] I thought it sounded like the warning the crew of the Nostromo hear. I most def heard the Deacon , the SJ and at the end Vickers saying "What did he say?" from when she confronts David in the hall. So it's just a mashup of some of the parts of the movie, not anything new or special, simply hype for the DVD release IMO.

Hopefully is all means something and not just random garbage :P ! If only some spoke engineer :( . I don't know if the message is the same in the deleted scene in Alien, but what I did, was I opened 2 windows, one with the "what is 10.11.12" sound from the engineer and the other window of the youtube clip of the deleted scene. I timed it at about the same time to start both distress call and the engineer and they do sound alike and they both run about the same time as well. Try it out. Kinda creepy of the similarities.

I'm wondering if this 10.11.12 is: 1. A DVD. 2. A video game. 3. A cable TV series (think Caprica/ Battlestar Gallactica) I would suspect that Guy Pierce would play a major role in this. If not a cable TV series then possibly a direct to DVD mini-series about Weyland and family. 4. A full fledged, 2nd part of the movie. 5. Just some something to keep us busy until the Apocolypse.

I'm loathe to suggest this ... but ... the Scott brothers may have had access to (and may have been a part of) all sorts of DARPA games on You The People, broadcast by TV & Film. I'm thinking DEJA VU and ENEMY OF THE STATE, among other films... I mean, look at Tony Scott's turn of film since Beverley Hills Cop 2 (1987). Look at the sort of films they've BOTH produced etc in the last ten years. AND NOW THIS, "We were born from alien tests 20,000 years ago?"

As 10 11 12 is close to the rumor of the end of the world, I start to doubt that the aliens are coming back to ''monitor' us... and the voice message is their warning...
