Prometheus in China

I don't believe it's unusual and here is why: We don't have IMAX theatres here. Our 3D theatres are crappy and most peeps prefer to watch movies in 2D. So, the same aplies to all counties. There are areas in a country you woun't find IMAX or 3D theatres.

Lately all comes in 3D most of them dont worth go to see them in 3D, I'm one of the bunch who prefer the good 35mm, here sometimes I can't find the movie with subtitles, the onlý way to watch them in the original language is go and watch them in the Digital Version. Truly, the onlý One of the theaters changes I do appreciate is the sound system.. Is really good. @no Imax? Why....

AL: we used to have one theatre with IMAX, but bad management closed it down. We are expecting some IMAX theatres to open in the end of this year or mid 2013

@skuaimages; It is not unusual for Montreal Canada where I live, IMAX system has its roots here since EXPO '67 and was invented in Canada. Almost every movie theatre has at least one cinema in it with an IMAX. 8/10 movies I have seen since 2000 have been in IMAX. 3D has been common as well.

Erm was the guy wondering about the Imax or the fact is being released at all in china?! - I remember no release date on the web earlier in the year for china!
