MemberFacehuggerAug-12-2012 3:24 PMFor those who may have watched Predators, there is a chase scene with an alien that looks something ‘like’ the Deacon. I don’t know if anyone has spotted it at all. For those who may have not seen Predators, there have been some evolutionary changes added to the Predators, which makes me wonder if something has been anticipated on the AVP franchise. What makes it more interesting IMO is the timing regarding the release of Predators and when Prometheus was released. Is DVP potentially in the pipeline?

The question in my mind still remains as to whether the AVP franchise would be tempted to hijack the concepts produced in Prometheus and extend some life into the money making machine. Maybe we’re back on the same roundabout. Alien sets the canon, AVP hijacks it.

As for this canon talk alien is unfortunately with prometheus (although maybe not 100 percent yet in seeing an exact link) and predator stands alone for me all the others were spin offs to make money although aliens was very good they are for me kind of parallel dimensions allot of which are abominations to the franchise :P ...

MemberOvomorphAug-12-2012 9:04 PMI saw some of your reactions to this thread coming from miles away. @batchpool Mentioning Predators in the same sentence as Aliens( or deacons for that matter), is considered a faux pas around this joint. ;)
