MemberOvomorphNov-10-2012 3:46 AMWhen watching a scene with David walking across the Orrey it struck me that it's design at first glance was similar to the Green Stone's table top.
The Orrery's floor did seem more flat than the Stone's top..but the way it was sectioned off.seemed too close to be a random design.
Also the Green Stones function(if has not been established,
I suggest that it was transferable to the Orrery and can be used to display various star maps to the Engineeers..special..secret maps that for some reason are important to them
In any case the floor and table top design seem similar,,and imply a connection.

MemberOvomorphNov-10-2012 6:26 AMI believe that the green stone is the Xeno embryo (or human fetus embryo as I describe in this [url=http://www.prometheus-movie.com/community/forums/topic/10894&page=4]thread[/url]), which was created as a result of the sacrifice of the engineer in the first scene, which was kept frozen until David opened the door. Think the connection between engineer-sperm and sea (in which the body of the engineer is disintegrated)-interior of the ovum. Remember the ancient Greek myth about Uranus and Earth (Gaia in Greek)?
