My question is this:
Is this just a coincidence i.e. 'a cool-looking design idea', or is the Juggernaut an infectious biolgical entity, itself?

bob? which one was he? But how did we get on the subject of the endowment of actors! I may have to start in on the veluptousness of Roomi Rapace's physical attributes. Did you see RS checking her out during casting where she shows off her great physical shape and he comments "Yeah good butt;" But I guess a good director would be remiss if he didn't notice things that the viewers are going to be drawn to. Lets face it, sex sells tickets and a director ignorant of that fact would be lacking. I personally agree with his choice. Roomi Rapace is an exotic and hugely attractive female and her physical appeal is certainly undeniable. So something for everybody.lol

Charlize was a dream especially at the end when she was half unzipped while trying to get into that escape pod. Its what wasn't seen that triggers your imagination..... OK now I really must be off to dream land and I wonder who will be there waiting for me:) maybe both! lol.

"..The Prometheus crew may have had worms eating at their brains, too?.. If you are referring to the unaccounted for Goo that David openned up before 'trying harded. with Holloway I am down wth this line of thinking.
No I don't have any visual proof of this occurring but after the succes with Holloway whaty better way for David to try harded than with using the entire crew as test subjects.
Maybe the ingestion of 'goo fumes' by the crew started the activation of the 'brain eaters' and affected each crew member in different ways. This included Vickers, Janek, Shaw but not David.
In fact I would not put it past David to try some 'Goo Therapy' with the Last Engineer before intruducing Weyland to his God?
It just seems possible that David took this directive to 'try harder' more seriously than we have been lead to believe and he would take immediate and direct action to carry our this command.

To me the worm design not only echos the Juggeranaut shape but also the wall around the Pyramid...including the openning for the road.
 Just a co-incidental i suspect.

On a recent viiewing of our movie I noticed that the Juggernaut design reminded me of a Crown wonf by a Kiong og Queeen onn the throne.
I am not saying it is a fancy head topping but it reminded me of a crown that would have been worn by Zeus.
The shape reminds me of the picture of Zeus on a Casino Slot Machine named Zeus.
No if this Juggernaut design was lucky I might weere it all the time.

"To me the worm design not only echos the Juggeranaut shape but also the wall around the Pyramid...including the openning for the road." yeh its seemed to have a protective wall suggesting the bad (silicastorm ) weather was a longtime feature
as for crowns it kinda reminds me of a torque the celtic/gaulish jewelery where the band of metal for a necklet or bracelet has terminals that dont meet

I used to love hippie haiku but then the 70's came into the picture.
That is one thing missing from this movie : 'Hippies' .
