TWO people ejected in pods from Prometheus?

it looks like Shaw could have been the other, must have been early draft script type of stuff they were visualizing

I believe it is Shaw going form the draft I've just been flicking through.

See, I think it's the other two pilots, I forget their names at the moment, Ravel and Chance? Anyways, I think it's them who are the last 2 escape pods. Cause in the pre-vis, we see Vickers' life boat, then an escape pod (Shaw), then 2 more. That's my guess.

So, nobody knows - fine. :)

In the Paradise draft it's shaw followed by Vickers so I do believe it's supposed to be shaw and Vickers in the pre-viz video.

In the original script was it by Jon Sphaits (?!?) Vickers and Shaw were the ones escaping because Shaw made it to Prometheus and convinced Janek in the ship to crash the lane so it must be that. And what comes to the Ravel and Chance they wanted a piece of the pie as heroes :). Good men, can't remember which one but one had family and a kid in that script.

Shaw was on the ground with the Juggernaut. I thought the escape pods were automatically jettisoning as a result of the Ion Engines starting in the atmosphere of a planet? Hence, the countdown sequence while Vickers is trying to get into a space suit? This was my assumption.
