AdminEngineerJul-07-2013 2:53 PMThere's been a lot of talk since [b]Prometheus[/b] was in pre-production and well after it hit theaters - regarding the [b]Xenomorph[/b].
The mystery surrounding how the Xenomorph came to be remains just that - a mystery. The Deacon isn't a Xenomorph, it's something else, something of similar DNA, but ultimately a completely new species of Alien.
With [b]Prometheus 2[/b] around the corner, the speculation will once again rise to an all-time high as fans debate and contemplate what will be revealed, and what questions will be answered from both [b]Prometheus[/b] and [b]Alien[/b]. But my question for you all today is, do you want to see the classic Xenomorph in [b]Prometheus 2[/b]?
Should the Xenomorph make an appearance in [b]Prometheus 2[/b] and should its origin be revealed? Or do you think this would diminish a lot of the mystery this franchise has created and kept unique since 1979? Of course I know [b]Prometheus[/b] expanded the Alien universe and that the Xenomorph itself is such a minute portion of it all, but for those hard core fans out there, who adore their Xenomorph - what do you think? Should a Xeno be present in [b]Prometheus 2[/b]? Let me know by replying below.

MemberDeaconJul-12-2013 11:41 AMI agree Ridley may not want to go that route, but all i was saying is lets say we dont get the Answers....
Fanboys want the Answers after Prometheus Trilogy is finished etc, we could wait years and Rildey not touch up on it and then come a day when he is too old or passes away....
If Fox see there is money to be made by doing another movie to show how the Xeno came to be and then also another Alien Xeno Movie only one that predates Alien and Prometheus timelines, then we cant rule out Fox doing so and doing so in a way that would not settle well with Ridleys ideas.
Thats why i think he would have to a degree show us more clues while not spoon feed us...

MemberOvomorphAug-23-2013 10:01 PMHmmm. I think we did see a Xenomorph in Prometheus 1. In my mind the Deacon is a Xeno. Just a different variety due to its unusual method of creation. I think that the type and shape of a Xeno changes depending on environment, purity and or generation.

But i also do think that by the end of the franchise we will see the Traditional Xeno or at very least Egg/Face Huger at some point before the Franchise is done....
Be that Paradise or Part 3 etc...
This may just be a flash back scene, it could be a scene where David reads stuff and informs Shaw, or a Engineer etc and as they are describing it, we are given a flash back....
Do i think by the time the Prometheus Series is finished we will actually see a Live Traditional Xeno, even if its in Flash Back Scene... like the Sacrificial Scene in Prometheus then my answer is..
YES i think we would.... but i dont expect much air time of it just short and sweet...
