Prometheus Noomi Rapace and Michael Fassbender are either rumored or confirmed for the film and Jack Paglen is suppose to write the script and it has a prequel comic. Avatar 2 The surviving cast is supposed to return and the film has James Cameron, obviously, directing. Other than that nothing on the project has been heard for a while now. That's it. @Custodian, I can relate to your frustration at the lack of news! I wish Ridley would just get on with Prometheus 2 and put his other projects on hold! I check Ridley's Imdb page constantly for any updates and at the moment, he is filming Child 44, he has 2 films 'in production' and a few projects (mainly TV films and dramas) in 'pre production.' Noomi Rapace is filming Child 44 and her next film after that, is in 'pre production,' which means that she will probably start filming that this year (I think.) After that she only has Prometheus 2 lined up, unless she decides to take on other projects. Michael Fassbender is filming X men and his next film after that is in 'pre production, with Prometheus 2 after that. So both Noomi and Fassbender are currently filming, and both their next films are in pre production. After that they both have Prometheus 2 lined up. Again, unless they decide to take on other projects. It looks to me like they are both in-sink and it wouldn't surprise me if they start filming Prometheus 2 next year. Wouldn't that be nice!

[EDIT] Just looked on Collider and it seems that Noomi's next film, after Child44, is Bosse and Anita which they plan to start filming in Autumn/Fall. After that she has Prometheus 2 lined up. Also, Fassbender's next film, after X men, called Genius, is due to start filming SOON. After that he has Prometheus 2 lined up.
