Will Alien: Covenant introduce Xenomorph Egg Morphing?

@Starlogger, thats ok my friend, its an original script idea from the first alien story, it would be good just to see it once in the alien story time line.

It would not be the first introduction of egg morphing.  I wa sjust watching the original Alien last night and I was watching for details of an Ancient liens nature and I don't know why I didn't notice before but when Dallas is cocooned there is another crew member, Brett, was almost completely morphed into an egg.

Ridley wants to explore his original ideas and so i think down the line the Egg Morphing could indeed come back into it, as well as Xenomorphs who can masquerade as Humans (ET Phone Home) and the DE-canonization of the Queen cant be ruled out. 

For me, egg-morphing is the way to go, as it's an Unconventional repro process that appropriately fits to the title 'ALIEN'.

Cameron's 'queen', my views on that, him and his well-known disrespect of the ALIENverse are a matter of record. Bring in a queen and the only proper title then is 'MUNDANE', or 'ATTACK OF THE SLOBBERY AGGRO SPACE-ANTS FROM LV-426'.

I will be addressing egg-morphing in my works, and it won't be a little scene as in ALIEN. I have the opportunity to do something quite heavy with it, and intend to fully reveal the true, intrinsic horror of it. As so little is genuinely Known about it, I am being very careful and doing a fair bit of zoological and related research to fill in gaps via extrapolation.

Work is proceeding on ALIEN: Manticore, as working on that helps me stay sane as I await the release date here in Canada for ALIEN: Covenant. :D

I think the Queen makes sense as far as Perfect Life form... but a failure as far as Perfect Bio-Weapon i have covered a few times to explain the Queen which at the most basic could be a Evolution and unintended Result.

I would not be surprised if Ridley Scott attempts to take Aliens away from Canon.

People had few Problems with Aliens... The Queen and Hive Mind made it more like Ants, the Xenomorph was easier to kill. and it lacked that 1979 Original Look.

Sadly if think those with such gripes wont find 2 out of 3 any bad but that 2 out of 3 are really bad.

I think Ridley Scott will disregard the Queen, i think he will show the Organisms to be more Bullet Proof, and have a Far Greater Growth Rate.

I also suspect we will be shown instead of Hive Mind, that they will in part become AI and can be Programed of sorts... and also they will evolve from Animalistic to well extremely Intelligent... what i mean is i wont rule out the Original ideas for Alien as far as how clever the Xenomorph is.

aside from some physical simarities, the critters in ALIENS weren't 'Aliens', more like cheap knock-offs to be used as fodder for automatic weapons.

In a cut scene they just kept mindlessly throwing themselves against two automated sentry guns, and that scene had more to do with the guns than the creatures.

I really hope R. Scott fully re-aligns the franchise to Original Canon, and de-canonizes ALIENS as that movie was made by a man who has nothing but a complete lack of respect for the ALIENverse.
