The Covenant:Full Crew?

The strike team at night may be Branson and others that were awoken to investigate the "distress" signal.  This would explain Crudup promoted before heading down to Paradise or Crudup is answering to "Captain" because he is second in line and Franco/Branson is down on the planet with the night strike team in the photo.

On a topic yesterday i posted that same image when proposing maybe such... so its nice to have a Topic started we can discus this..

Quite possible,I definitely feel there's some sabotage or interference from Crudup.He doesn't seem trustworthy in my opinion.

Ok Guys i will have a look at your comments... first i will put my TWO Cents before i read them, and i am looking forwards to reading all your theories ;)

Right we cant say for sure its Security Team... at first we could, but that was before the Trailer.. The Trailer shows us a group of 10 go down to the surface of Paradise and we dont know every ones role yet....  We know Walter is the company Robot on board... we know Daniels is lead Terra-former expert and her Husbands was the Captain but he does not go down with those others in that Trailer...

I can break down the Crew and Roles from what i have seen so far, but indeed it looks like some of them can provide or are Security and have some Military or well Security training.

I would assume they are at least Nathaniel Dean, Uli Latukefu, Alexander England and Demián Bichir due to the clothing they wear....  Benjamin Rigby wearing a bit different color but then they are all not dressed 100% the same and we dont see Rigby in any shots of the crew leaving the Drop Ship.

The odd thing with the image in the OT is that it looks like its at night and there are flood lights behind them... but this is also definitely the Grass Area that we see in the Trailer after they walk off the Drop Ship.

My next post will be the post i was going to put, and i am sorry if its off Topic or will indeed drag the Topic in a different direction but i think its very relevant to the Crew of the Covenant who are not in Cryo-sleep and part of that Last Supper video and that posted image and the Time Line.

The only Logical way these Clues work to me is a Time Stamp as the 2104 is in every one and the movie is set in that year... so the other Logical similarity is December being part of the date

So we have this Order..

At Night a Landing Party land on what looks like Paradise.

some nearly 15 hours latter we have this image of the Cryo-Pods with one that is off or suffered a malfunction?

some 48 hours and 40 Minutes after the potential landing on Paradise in the Dark and some 33 hours and 45 Minutes after the Cryo-Pod Scene, we have the After Math of a infected Crew taken to Qaurantine who gets Back Bursted.

6:56 PM  December 8th 2104

Some almost 67 hours after the first landing at night shot, we are shown a Cave or  Tunnel System thats very remisant of the Derelict interior and not Juggernaught. We will maybe be shown this happens about 20 hours after the first Victim of the Spores and Back Burster Neomorph.

So from Landing to this point we are talking a 67 hour period,  is this the TIME LINE?  so the events since they maybe find Paradise would take place over 4 days?

This raises a few interesting Questions...

Possibly BigDave.So  you believe that this security force arrives prior to the Covenant.It's reminiscent of The Lost World,two teams,separate objectives.One to colonize,one to perhaps aquire something(?)

Indeed CarynDelacroix your theories are interesting, we dont know for sure if Vickers was a Robot.... i think however it was a Red Herring and she was indeed Human... i think Lindeloff confirmed she was no Robot...  My Prometheus 2 draft had a Vickers and so we would think Vickers was a Robot in Prometheus.. but my draft reveals at the end that she was a Robot... my Draft was a mess though trying tackle  multiple Plots

But your comment about Quiet Eye does link to my draft idea, and indeed back up your theory... well you fan theory would need something to support information about Prometheus 2 mission... and indeed the Yutani Quiet Eye does show that Yutani are a major Communications Company and are Spying on Weyland and so indeed, the Weyland Virals did show us that Weyland company did rely on Yutani Technology as far as gathering Data and Information.

So if Weyland never recovered much from Prometheus you can bet maybe Yutani secretly was able to record and send back information... by having a Hacked Program and Hardware.

Regardless i think as there software ECU was where Weyland got information about LV-426 prior to Prometheus, you can bet they was keeping  a interesting watchful eye on the proceedings and maybe they would be sending a Mission to LV-223

However i dont think any kind of previous Mission to Paradise is at play...

Is 48 hours prior to the Covenant scenes where things start to go to Hell.... with the Back Burster...

So the only Logical Explanation is that another Team on the Covenant went down some 24 hours prior.... by whos orders who knows...

This team was either Led by Walter who is in on something... and after Hell Breaks Lose he tails it back in the Drop Ship and pretends nothing happened... and then leads the others to the same Fate.

Or.... as above but Walter finds David and David takes out Walter and replaces him... which is discussed on this Topic Here

I would bet these Time Stamp Images dont appear in the Trailer.. they are just a clue to the events...  yes we will get the Back Buster and this shot is the aftermath... but there is no bodies in this Shot, and i doubt they cleared out the bodies just before the Ship Blows up.

So its a Production Image... thats all... a clue however to a actual event.

So i feel we WILL NOT see this Landing Shot at Night at all... not at the start of the movie... but when we get a Big Twist we will find out about some underhanded tactics and then find out that indeed a previous group was sent down.

I feel Daniels makes this discovery when she finds the Dog Tags, if they belong to someone who is not part of the group who she was with...

@BigDave   Could that be a team, military, that was sent down to scout out the planet before the crew came down. Like a scouting party.

Or does that picture fit more with the scene of David cloaked at night in the trailer?

Who knows...
