Per the trailer- no animals and such yet wheat is there. Can that be accounted for? I think Rick mentioned pollination in another thread and agree.

@Apex_Predator, how about the Dogon tribe of Mali and their gods the Nommo which imparted great knowledge to them about the star sirius and its invisible partner "po tolo" or "deep beginning" in english.
Professional Astronomer Dr. Edwin .C. Krupp, director of Griffith Observatory L.A says in his book(Beyond the Blue Horizon: Myths & Legends of the Sun, Moon, Stars & Planets) that "po tolo" is associated with the fonio grain and is styled the "star of the fonio".
The Dogon likened po tolo to sirius b, because of the grains small size and heavy because of its association as being the vessel containing the blood of everything created and could tie into the story as well.
