Eine Theorie die nicht auf Etwas solidem basiert ist für gewöhnlich nur Geschwätz.

MemberTrilobiteMar-12-2017 9:43 PMIndeed. Ramstein is pretty badass and puts on quite a show. Don't forget Accept either! Interestingly, Wolf Hoffman lives in Nashville, Tennessee of all places.

MemberChestbursterMar-13-2017 8:51 AMI've had many visits to Chicago! Beautiful city, I would like to try out the lake cruises departing from the Navy Pier, and I have yet to visit the Adler Planetatium observatory and Shedd aquarium.

MemberFacehuggerMar-13-2017 4:47 PMI reside in Ye Olde Nottingham Town, England. I was very chuffed to have a Sir Ridley Scott version of Robin Hood! I've traveled to quite a few countries around our planet. I was in Ukraine when I watched Ridley's Robin Hood. The furthest I've been is Mexico (obviously to look for ancient alien engineer evidence among the Mayan ruins). Also been to Russia (pre Putin) and lots of countries in Europe. Never been to America yet and not sure if I want to come while the Orange guy is in charge!
I like to think we only have one planet and I'd like to visit any and all of it, so why can't we all get along? :-)
I like the term World Citizen and I feel like that when I'm posting up here with the Alaskans and Croatians etc :-)

MemberChestbursterMar-13-2017 4:54 PMYep I've experienced -30° Celsius in Chicago back in November and December. And my colleagues have mentioned temperatures below -40°! That's insanely cold and even worse (especially with northern winds) than in northern Sweden!

MemberPraetorianMar-13-2017 5:02 PMChris is from Canada, wow! :)
I'd like to know where S.M is from.
And nobody from Asia?
dk
MemberTrilobiteMar-13-2017 5:15 PMI saw another thread that listed AC not being shown in Cambodia until August so there might not be much love from that part of the world.
Rick
MemberXenomorphMar-13-2017 5:56 PMNeo, Chicago isn't called the Windy City for no reason. Everything is lake effect and the winds coming into the city aren't blocked so they have time to build up speed before hitting the towers and creating wind tunnels between the high rises. -40° then add in 30+ mph winds between the buildings. Winter Sucks ARSE in Chi-Town

MemberChestbursterMar-13-2017 6:29 PMYes Rick I'm aware of that (thanks anyway), it was still a bit of a shock for me as a cold-resistant Swede the first time I was there.
I thought I could endure cold temperatures, but the winds there were like "f*** you how about this in your face".
The only thing that beats a freezing day in Chicago during the winter in my travel experience is Svalbard, situated in the Arctic Ocean north of Norwegian.
The northernmost airport in the world is there. Speaks for itself really.
Severe winds and only specially trained pilots are allowed to land there.
You open the doors of a passenger jet and a snowstorm literally enters the cabin.
Yeah, your balls are stuck on the seat when you leave the aircraft.
Rick
MemberXenomorphMar-13-2017 6:39 PMYeah my boys turtle up in Chi-town and screw Svalbard. Chicago is bad enough. I migrated to a warmer climate.
Steve, what part of Cincy? Inside or outside the loop?

MemberDeaconMar-13-2017 6:45 PMHa Ha DK
Not quite.... Then again i was born in the Black Country and raised in Birmingham until after i left School then back to nice and Sunny Black Country LOL
Nowt to much shout about from here that our international folk on here would know about.... Like who would know who Lenny Henry is ;)
Town i am in now is a really old one back in the days and was in the Doomsday Book... once the heart of England and one of the main Industrial Revolutions... where a lot of WW2 Metal work was carried out... i live like 800 Meters from where Many a UK WW2 Tank Torrent was made. Still have the Pool that they used to cool the Metal in... and the Pool has always had the rumor its bottomless.. when years ago nothing would float in it due to the chemical effects on Water Buoyancy
At least we in Black Country have one claim to FAME!!!
The Dudley Dorito ;)
And i am lucky enough to have seen in in 1996
But i will add DK my mom did go to a School for a bit that Ozzy Osborne went to, a lot of facts about him are wrong he was not from Aston.. but between Stetchford and Bordsley Green
But than again when people from other countries or counties as me where i am from its easier to say between Birmingham and Wolverhampton, so its same kind of thing
Update.... near the Hodehill estate for those who want to know.. And there was no Bats there lol
R.I.P Sox 01/01/2006 - 11/10/2017

MemberXenomorphMar-13-2017 6:56 PMBD I eat Dorito's all the time.
