Last name: Oram
This unusual and interesting name is of Old Norse origin, and is mainly found recorded in the north of England, in particular the areas of the heaviest settlement of Scandinavian invaders. The modern surname derives from the Old Norse personal name "Ormr", in Old Danish and Old Swedish "Orm", which was originally a nickname meaning "snake, serpent" or "dragon".

I kind of favor the biomechanical creation coming from Walter Apex_Predator. Walter is another reach by Weyland-Yutani Corporation into something not fully understood, a hybrid synthetic/organic product. David 8 may take advantage of this product with unknown origin black goo technology.
My way of looking at the xenomorph term is: a visitor or foreign agent applied to local biology. Whatever the black goo is (and origin), the effects seems to amplify the biology it is applied to. The black goo sure amplified Fifield in Prometheus.
Sean Fifield, after sleeping in black goo, was hostile and able to surgically place himself at the foot of the ship bay door before restoring his helmet cam for Captain Janek to notice and task the crew to check it out. Fifield showed traits of being radically-aware of his surroundings as if his senses were as strong as the physical traits seen.
Walter is biomechanical as I understand it.
Some how, the DNA of customers is provided to cultivate instinct ("consciousness imprint") in Walter for the customers.
What better territory is there for David 8 to work in to create something to wipe out humanity?
An organism with imbedded human instinct and the capacity to hold an incredible amount of knowledge mixed with the exotic strengths of a synthetic could be a real challenge for all the shareholders.
Walter seems to be humanity's best shot at transcending biology and Walter may used to wipe out all of humanity if he is harvested by David 8.
