Sorry guys this is a complete waste of a topic lol,but I'm playing Alien Isolation later tonight for the third time in the past year. The game is just simply incredible. The pacing is immaculate, the attention to detail rivals Sir Ridley Scott(there's even a visual Blade Runner reference for those with keen eyes),solid characterization and most of all,it's terrifying. No action packed banality like Colonial Marines, just you being stalked by a xenomorph(Spoiler!there's actually a few)So Isolation fans, sound off and show your love, tell us your greatest moments and scares.

Svanya- I forgot about that feature. I would have never finished since my dog barks at everything that passes by!

I crouched/crept at that moment not knowing I didn't need to.

^ That's a good way to describe the effect the game has on the player. You can't be too sure if the Alien is far away, as it could get to a certain distance, only to do an instant unpredictable 180° turn and run back at lightning speed *bam* game over man.

And the only thing you did was to move through a room.

Ive had this game for a few years. I enjoy it very much.It would be quite something if they did an Alien:Covenant game in the same way.

Good morning all.I reached San Cristobel before i turned it off and went to bed.Kept dying and being sent back all the way to Samuels and Taylor in the terminal lol. It's worth noting it's the first time the xenomorhp really stalks an area in the game. All it's previous appearances are more or less scripted

I've made a decision that I AM going to plow through this game, even though I don't usually "stealth" games, if just to enjoy the effects and art. However, I have already had two incidents that have caused me more terror than when I played "Outlast" (another scary "stealth" game that I suffered through, but in the end enjoyed), so I think it's going to be worth it.

Starlogger.- You might have a better time limiting playing sessions to 3 hours or less. Save OFTEN! Sometimes there are multiple step objectives and if you die you have to start all over again. I would complete a step, save, next step, save etc. I will admit to playing on novice level and it still was pretty challenging for me.

@dk, having to reach save points on your own just adds more suspense and fear and makes you more stealth tactic minded, i am glad there was no autosave in this game.

@ninXeno, i know which place you mean with hack device, i have never run so fast in my life lol!

@cuponator 3000, yeah i know which spot ya talkin about i had too knock the difficulty down to medium, there was no way the xeno was going to let me get out of there and i had used up all my fire to keep it at bay. lol!

airshaft_surprise It took more time to save often but early on I went a long time and got a lot done- then I got killed and lost all that progress. Just my style- very conservative player. There were actually a few quasi auto saves in the game but I won't drop a spoiler.

Starlogger,if you don't mind my asking how far have you gotten?Because I'll admit it can be a bit slow in the beginning before the xenomorph shows up
