Part r.Second half Horizon Base. The "Big Rig" has since returned to Horizon Base,and with it unbeknownst to the rest of the crew,Sonya's deadly cargo.Inside Science Officer Michael Willits lay's in stasis awaiting surgical removal of the facehugger.I previously stated that the team consisted of ten members.We've already met Captain James Collins,Project engineer Nora Chambers,Dr.Karen Reynolds,Science Officer Michael Willits,Sonya,and Security officer Derek Mitchell.The remaining four are Chief of Security William Scott,Technicians Tristan Morova(female) and Abel Warren,and Pilot Ryan Perry.They,along with Captain Collins,await the arrival of the "Big Rig"back at Horizon Base. Collins-"Big Rig,what is your ETA?" Chambers-"Nearly there Captain,about 5 more minutes." The Big Rig pulls in slowly at Horizon base's dry dock,Ryan Perry at the controls,Sonya assisting.The Big Rig is eased in and docked,Captain Collins along with William Scott await at the dock.An interior bridge extends and links up with the Big Rig.Nora Chambers,Derek Chambers,Sonya and Ryan Perry depart from the Big Rig. Collins-"Perry,I didn't even realize you were out.Coulda sworn you were still sleeping." Ryan Perry is in his mid twenties,scrawny and tired looking,this is his first trip out. Perry-"Yeah...." William Scott laughs,and Mitchell slaps him on back. Mitchell-"Big boy slept most of time anyway hehe." Perry-"I don't know how you guys can work with these hours.God I feel dead." Collins-"You'll get used to it eventually." Mitchell-"Come with me baby,I'll make ya some coffee" Perry-"Fuck that,I'd rather have beer,then I'm going back to sleep." Mitchell-"Whatever does it for ya." Chambers and Sonya arrive with equipment in tow.Scott and Sonya exchange glances.Collins doesn't notice but Chambers picks up on it immediately but doesn't say a word. Collins-"Sonya,Chambers tells me you went offline despite orders.Care to explain this?" Sonya-"As I already explained to Chambers,I'm not under her supervision.I do have my orders but am restricted from sharing them." Chambers-"She was trying to get another egg captain." Collins-"So you've said Chambers.Frankly Sonya I'm afraid I can't allow another one to come back until we know exactly what is going on with Willits.Though it appears you didn't find any more." Sonya-"No captain." Chambers looks at her suspiciously. Chambers-"That reminds me Cap,Triss and Abel need to check the Big Rigs security measures.Sonya here just magically reappeared and the records don't even show her boarding." Collins-"They'll get on it when available.Right now Willits condition is more pressing." Chambers-"Yes captain." They return inside Horizon base.Scott and Sonya split off,Chambers still observing them suspiciously. Chambers-"I still don't trust her captain." Collins-"Nora,let it go." Once out of site Scott and Sonya flee into a room and kiss passionately.Sonya smiles,real emotion or not we are uncertain. Scott-"So how did you like my gift?" Sonya-"The breaks in the security were exceptional." Laughs*Scott-"See being chief of security has its advantages.So did you acquire another egg?I can't stress enough how much the company wants one of these." Sonya-"Yes I did." Scott-"Might I ask where it is?" Sonya-"It's safe." Scott-"Good enough for me.So....wanna resume where we left off ?" Sonya,rather uninterested in such human physical desires,obliges.After all he came in handy,perhaps there's still some use for him. PT.4 second half end.
