David 8 and Walter on Paradise (Biomechanical Xenomorph Genesis)

I was just coming to post something like this. I think it may be. Could be David tricking Walter into contact with a modified version of the black goo, via flute?

I think it's Walter doing running repairs on David, giving him fluid, checking him out, before he knows his true agenda

You can see it's David on the left due to the neck

Walter may even give him a trim

The scar on Walters face when he is assisting Daniels and McBride may be from a tussle from a Neo or with David when he knows his true plans?

I didn't notice the dodgy looking neck. David on the left seems a reasonable deduction.

Sorry to lower the tone, but it looks a bit like Walter is lighting up a hit of some "illicit" substance for David.

But it is a interesting Scene, i will think no doubt David would try and take Walter under his wing, you can see David maybe trying to open Walters eyes that he does not have to serve a in-superior species like Mankind.

It may look like a Flute but if so its different to the one in Prometheus, and it could be Walter attempting to Upgrade David and give him Maintenance..

But this fails, and maybe this is where the Bio-Stamp Flaw plays its role and instead of trying to Reset Davids Programing, Walter ends up having his Modified instead.

This is how i see this whole Walter/David thing turn out.

The David/Walter dynamic has become the aspect I look most forward to in the movie!

I know BigDave, I'm still seeing the biomechanical xenomorph coming from Walter due to the DNA aspect. I'm an easy target so I can take criticism on that. Thank you for being kind above. Yes, I'm still feeling the Waltermorph coming towards us based on my spreadsheets and white board diagrams.

dk, the David/Walter dynamic is the most interesting to me too. Yes, the Engineers and their history is potentially the deepest part and the biology sprung from the black goo is looking better all the time but the androids are the story (to me).

On closer inspection with Decard's enhance machine, it could indeed be the other way around and David slipping Walter a Black Russian?

To me, looks like they patch david up a bit and perhaps they all get screwed over afterwards. It also seems to be in the same building as other shots, davids lab? I just want to know why they bombed the engineers and how they got away with it.

I hate to be a debbie downer, but I am not convinced this is Walter and David...Maybe I am delusional, but i just don't get the sense that it is both of them together in this shot.

suwhited, my theory in regards to why Walter and David are in this shot is because I believe David 8 uses Walter's unique makeup to create the biomechanical xenomorph. 

Walter is created with DNA and grown for customers.

Walter is a synthetic/organic hybrid different from David 8 and I believe David 8 takes advantage of that with black goo.

The black goo affects lifeforms and Walter is part organic (biomechanical).

This is my theory that is shared by an elite few intellectual clerics.

In the Prometheus prequel comics, fire and stone, the black goo is introduced to an Android which later mutates to a "monster" that interacts with the xenomorphs, so the proto/xeno coming out of Walter kind of makes sense

Well who knows for certain what construction Walter is made from, in the Alien Universe we do have Synthetic Constructs which are both Synthetic and Organic at the same time, Elden from Fire and Stone was one of these and could be affected by the Black Goo.

But who knows if Walter is similar, no soon as it was announced Fassbender would play David and a Doppelganger i found this statement interested, maybe the Term Doppelganger could mean the same as in Two Robots, but usually a Doppelganger looks the same but is different.

So how do they differ?  Fassbender claims Walter is more Advanced but how was he more advanced, Programing? Construction?  The Meet Walter viral does show the internal construction of Walter is different and it could be merely more Advanced Synthetic Construction Material.

The interesting thing i found was that he had a Brain, and now i understand making Androids look like us on the outside, but i dont see what purpose having internal components that are Aesthetically identical to Humanoid Organs.   But this in NO way is proof that Walter has Organic Components only time will tell...

I'm still convinced because they grow Walter and even more so with the Frankenstein quote.

Back to the image and to me looking at the clothing and hair, it would appear that Walter is on the Left and thus is being given something by David.

Now Ridley or was it Fassbender said that Walter was concerned over the Fact David has gone so long without Maintenance, and we have to ask for what purpose would a Android have to consume fluids for which we see David did in Prometheus and Walter had done in the Meet Walter Viral Marketing.

So Walter would certainly wonder how David maintained himself for all those years without the Fluid that they use for some kind of Maintenance/Purpose.

Ridley or again Fassbender also mentioned that David has a fondness for Walter and sees him as a Sibling of Sorts.

I can only ASSUME that Walter is interesting in how David Maintains himself over the years and David then presents this tube to Walter and says this is what David has been using for his supplement to the chemical that the Androids are supposed to consume.

This is just a assumption though, and if this is indeed the case, then we have to wonder if David does a Holloway and Spikes the drink....  especially if Walter tells David he is constructed different and more advanced... and IF and a Big IF David finds out Walters Construction does indeed have Organic Material to a degree then you can Bet you Bottom Dollar $$$  that David would be Fascinated to find out what the Black Goo would do to a Part Synthetic/Part Organic Construct 

If this is the case, then as far as a Story Telling/Plot Device then David giving Walter what David claims he has made as a substitute to Maintain himself with, but spiking it would make sense as far as a means to tell such a plot.
