I think everyone is entitled to their theories and yes lots get rehashed over and over, often because new members come to similar theories and have no idea that older Topics on this subjects exist.

We just cant be sure which theories are correct or in correct because the Franchise is constantly Evolving, people would have had ideas for the Space Jockey and Eggs before Prometheus came along and threw a kind of Curve-ball.

So then those who followed Prometheus would have seen a good basis to how this would continue until Alien Covenant has once again thrown a potential Curve-ball too.

5 Years before Prometheus i doubt many would have predicted the Space Jockey were a Humanoid Race, never mind created Mankind and played a role in Bio-Weapons that leads to or is connected to the Xenomorph.

After Prometheus who would have predicted that 5 years latter its now teased that David creates the Xenomorphs that end up on the Derelict.

We wont have no clear answers until Ridley is finished because each Project will answer some things, but then raise more Questions and i would not be surprised if we have to wait until 2020 at the earliest before we get any real clear answers.

REALLY good, solid points!! Thinking back, yeah, I never would have guessed anything about what PROMETHEUS showed to us, I always figured the Space Jockey was something far more Exotic than an engineer in a suit...and still do, given the huge size differential, but my idea doesn't conflict with what PROMETHEUS showed us either.

Nice angle Sean! I can see the Engineers being like Lucifer, "The Angel of Light" that fell from God's favor. Ridley seems to immerse himself in the supernatural aspects of the Old Testament, so you may be on the right track!
