Why was the thread asking for spoilers closed?

David isn't the creator of the Xenomorph..I haven't seen Alien: Covenant but in Prometheus when we visit the engineer temple with the big head if you noticed the mural on the wall has the Engineer and the Xenomorph depicted. It's implied that the engineer is actually the creator..

I'm just going to give a personal opinion. I wish people stopped praising Michael Fassbender so much. It's not that he doesn't deserve the praise, but it seems it makes Ridley Scott think: "everybody wants to have this character in every Alien movie. let's give them more". But not everybody wants Alien to be just about artificial intelligence. If Fassbender's role in the franchise keeps on growing we well get 1) More disposable characters 2) More unresolved mysteries 3) more forcibly introduced aliens into the plots. When I said this first some people seemed to think I didn't have a point, but now it is in many reviews: "this is bait and switch".

 David needs a closure, then let's just move on please!

@BigDave is on point. People should be able to browse the forum without worry of people posting spoilers in the titles of their threads. Anybody who does this probably knows better and is just trying to be a d*ck. 

Dorian I agree 100% people should be able to browse without seeing spoilers in the title. I know personally I probably wouldn't be able to stay away from this place for two weeks. I love it here.

I only made this thread to vent a little as it looked like the other thread asking for spoilers was locked by an admin. It seemed unfair to me to close it when it was labelled 'post spoilers here' etc clearly, and so I voiced my opinion. Turns out it was my mistake & the thread wasn't locked, hence I stand corrected and apologise if anyone was offended.

@M577 Thats the thing though, none of his titles were properly labelled with a spoiler notice, I had to go in and fix them. Also he posted spoilers details in the titles of his posts (Which I also had to fix) and he posted the the whole movie plot without warning in two of his posts. He also edited his comments later to spoil the plot for people on a second profile. No idea why he would do that, it hurts everyone here, some were his friends.

If a post gets closed or someone gets banned, we don't do it to be assholes, we do it because there is a really, REALLY good reason. 

Anyways I know you didn't know this and it's all good. I just hope no one will get spoiled before the movie opens, we only have a week or so left. :) 

Edit: Just saw this comment: "M577- haven't been on for a few days so I just found the threads Aaronstar started and only later added spoiler warning to titles once people read them. What a dick move, makes sense now". 

^Yeah, that was me, I had to go in and add the spoiler warnings. He also edited his comments on his main and a second profile to give away the whole plot, so be careful while browsing. I'll say this, i'm ok with the plot being spoiled for myself (which it was) but I am not ok with it being spoiled for members. You guys are awesome. <3

Yeah that sucks, completely unacceptable behaviour. I assumed he'd baited people and then changed the titles once he got a reaction which is bad enough but even worse that you had to go in and do it. 

He must be fun at parties.. [I've never used this line before hehe]

Thanks for clearing it all up though Svanya, I appreciate it. Also this thread isn't adding to the enjoyment or anticipation of Covenant so feel free to delete it :)
