I appreciate the heads-up, but I already expected such. :) Darkhorse usually goes with ALIEN/PREDATOR mix, have done for years and it obviously works very well for them.

One reason I leave Yautja out of my ALIENverse is the only thing scarier than being caught in a battle between those two...is NOT having a Yautja around to help you out/draw fire/aggro. ;)

Also I REALLY do NOT want things to go Alien V. Predator v. Chimeran. Though I might do a story up along those lines someday, just 'because'. :)

Dark Horse? TRW is a novel trilogy by Titanbooks. ;)

Wow, I totally missed that point!!

Well, in my defense i'm pretty deeply submerged in wrangling my own literary universe right now.

And nine oh-so 'helpful' and 'involved' kittiehz.

"Born" is valid in the sense of von Neuman replicating bots. Or maybe it's even more organic. You don't see a human "breaking" into pieces (although internal components may very well be damaged, as was the Engineer's face) when they fall, do you?  This also explains the odd homogeneity of the Juggernaut (it doesn't break when it hits the ground in Prometheus).

The Juggernaut seems to be made of a substance with incredible properties which humanity has no knowledge of.

When the Prometheus hits it, it breaks up on impact because it is constructed of millions of individual pieces of metal welded/bolted together, so there are numerous weaknesses and it cannot withstand a huge impact, plus the comparible weakness of metals.

The Juggernaut looks to be one single structure, with all parts connected to each other, maybe grown, using an unknown compound/substance with incredible strength.

@JOHNNYMORPH That's a good point. Also, the name Juggernaut is very fitting for its immense durability.

When u compare the Ships seen throughout the franchise from the Derelict to the Juggernaut in Prometheus and Alien Covenant. You can tell that the basic Overall Structure is quite Sturdy.

The ship in Alien Covenant manged to crash head first into the side of the Mountain and yet remained structurally intact from such a high impact.

Also judging by the computer controls you can tell it has some sort of Bio-Circuitry. It makes it easier to interact with but at the same time more vulnerable.

Ask yourself this, why is that all Three ships throughout the films are intact even after such a crash or a collision from the full force of the Prometheus as it engaged light speed before impact?

It is cause of that same bio-technology. much like any organisms has a limit to the amount of G-force they can withstand so do the ships.

Those G-Forces would destroy the biological components of the ships. However not the overall structure. This is my Theory at least so i do not know how much of it might be true.

@JOHNNYMORPH

Great observation of the Juggernaut's debris! From the film's climax, it makes sense that the ship would be constructed of many interlocking parts, perhaps created by Blackwinter-witch's Nanites.

@XenomorphXX118

Ah, why is it that all the ships are so intact? Interesting points on the bio-tech, but could there be some sort of subtle force-field in play? A small, invisible layer of energy tightly surrounding the ship's hall?
