Legacy MemberMemberPraetorianAugust 13, 20176753 Views22 RepliesI'd have to say prior to the release of Alien Covenant,this question would have been much easier to answer.Fans are often divided between the vision of these two directors vision for the Alien franchise,some say Ridleys vision is the only one that matters,while others might say he's becoming The George Lucas of the franchise.James Cameron's vision is polarizing as well.While he's made what is arguably the only film to equal the original Alien,many insist that his preference of action over horror,as well as the introduction of the queen xenomorph ruined Scott's Vision among other things.So do you think the series truly belongs to Scott who's arguably made the two most polarizing entries in the series (Prometheus and Alien Covenant of course)or should the series have kept James Cameron on board?Would the series be in better shape than it is?After all he's being called upon to save his own franchise Terminator.Both have rather different visions for the series,so who doesn't you think we would be better off with?
