Up With The Birds by Coldplay

The song is so happy it could be sinister at the same time.

The sky is blue

Send me up to that wonderful world...

And then I'm up with the birds (the birdy Xeno or the Weyland megacorp emblem)

Woolson Don't follow charts and what is popular so much. If you like what is charted, fine. There is much more out there if you just want to listen.

My username is named after my friend whos last name is Wilson and I would tease him occasionally by making fun of his last name in a friendly way. Woolson was conceived after I read about this ancient department store called Woolco.

Its a great song, very edgy, they couldve used this in a trailer focusing on Daniels or maybe the shower scene.

That is what is great is imagining it to different parts of the movie- and I deffinitely see the connections you made.

Exactly, I listen to a lot of Hip Hop and Pop and Rock but most of it is old. I really dont like this new generation. However I like some new songs here and there.

Woolson Agree- I am sort of set in my ways but I always seem to stumble onto something new that I like. I suppose movies are the same way.

Woolson I kinda feel that the music scene is stuck, not evolving as it should. Probably that's why in the Alien universe there is just old music.

Music is stuck in many ways. A famous and serious song from an iconic movie had drum tracks added and pasted on a friggin Nike commercial. Blasphemy!

I think NIN The Day the World Went Away was used for one of the Terminator movie trailers and I loved it.  Was very eery with all of the scenes of wasteland.

I was listening to the Imagine Dragons Believer song the other day and it made me think of the scene where David bombs the Engineers...

"Falling like ashes to the ground
Hoping my feelings, they would drown
But they never did, ever lived, ebbing and flowing
Inhibited, limited
Till it broke up and it rained down
It rained down, like...Pain"
